About This Mural
This project consists of three large-scale murals created as a unified installation for the Bledsoe-Miller STEAM Center. Rather than functioning as standalone pieces, the murals were designed to work together using scale, movement, and recurring visual motifs to activate the building and guide viewers through the space.
The imagery draws from science, technology, music, and the natural world, using symbolic references instead of literal explanation. Wildlife, scientific notation, pattern systems, and gesture-based forms appear throughout the work, creating visual connections between disciplines that are often taught separately.
By layering recognizable elements with abstract structure, the murals invite exploration without prescribing meaning. The goal is not to instruct, but to spark curiosity, encouraging viewers to notice relationships, ask questions, and experience the space as something dynamic rather than static.
